I grew up in Princeton, WV. I have played basketball since the age of 10. I was fortunate enough to play with a great group of girls growing up. We played from 6th grade all the way up through 12th grade; we played both school basketball as well as AAU together. We were able to have an undefeated season during my junior year in high school. I played at Bluefield State College before getting married and relocating to Chester, VA. I have coached youth basketball for over 10 years at the rec, church, and AAU levels.
While at James River, my 6th grade team finished as DII Virginia State AAU champions and as Runner’s up in the Subway Commonwealth Games. We have our current vision on Exposure tournaments and AAU Nationals for the 2014-2015 AAU season.
